Huh?

In the no common sense goes this http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/08/11/georgia.child.support/index.html

The man paid child support for 13 years on a kid that wasn't his. Fell behind and spent a year in jail even though the judge and DA were aware the kid wasn't his. WTF? Absurdity at its finest. Is there no common sense left in the world? I am amazed each day by the stupidity of those in charge. WTF?

Speaking Of The Devil

What impeccable timing. I bitch about the dead and missing kids network and who shows up in the USA Today? The ringleader herself, Nancy Grace. Now I appreciate the fact that she means well but chill already. This chick is way to intense and her owl looks make me turn the channel every time.

Watching The News

The news really sucks. Watching HLN better known as the dead and missing kids network. They have been rambling on about the Mexican Mafia, some dude named Cab Tice and the Billings murder. The Billings were done in by a bunch of dirtbags. No more, no less. The scabs robbed them and killed them. No need to make it any bigger than it is. It was a tragedy, leave it at that.

WTF?

How does a team score 13 runs, have leads of 3-0, 8-2, 12-2, and 13-7 lose the baseball game? I have no clue either. The Minnesota Twins have an idea. In fact they pulled off this amazing feat, losing to the Oakland A's 14-13 last night. Unbelievable! Not a fan of either but WTF? Get some damn pitchers already.

Couple Murdered

In this day and age that headline barely gets a response. The rest of the headline better get you pissed of at the senseless loss of life and the devastation this act of violence has caused.

Couple Who Adopted 12 Children Slain. This makes me sick to my stomach. Byrd and Melanie Billings had 16 children. 16 children now traumatized for life and parentless. For what? I ask again, for what? How could one do this to other human beings? How are these monsters created and what can we do to curb the violence in this world? Plenty of questions, few answers. Our prayers go out to the deceased and their family, their going to need them,

Infidelity

Infidelity, cheating on your spouse, adulterer, what ever you would like to call it. "It" seams that it is alright to practice this. Just take a look at the recent headlines beyond Steve McNair.

Take a look at this quick list of politicos that have crumbled in infidelity: John Edwards, Sen. John Ensign, Larry Craig, Elliot Spitzer, David Vitter, South Carolina Gov Mark Sanford. What does this say about our societ? I am afraid it doesn't say anything good. NFL players getting murdered by their mistress, MLB players walking out on their families, political ambition, and countless families ruined.

Is it worth it? I find it very hard to believe cheating on your spouse is worth you career, your reputation, your family, your life! Grow a sack fellas. You want to screw around on your wife? Be a real man and make her not your wife first. You want to sleep around? Divorce first, sleep around all you want after. Show some respect for someone you claimed to love!

Steve McNair 1973-2009

Once again we are here talking about death. Funny how that works isn't it. Steve McNair brought many people excitement. I have always been a big fan. I loved his toughness, his willingness to put it on the line for his team. Still liked him after his toughness cost me the fantasy football championship. The toughness had gotten me to that point so I couldn't be to upset.

Off the field the Quarterback seems to be like so many other men, unable to commit to their wife and their children. Was it worth it Steve? Obviously not. The Iranian waitress, who it seems shot the QB before turning the gun on herself, must have thought it was worth it. The way I understand it is McNair pulled an affair con, and it cost him his life. It looks as if McNair had mentioned divorce and marriage to this young woman, as many men have done. When the truth came out, no divorce no marriage, the waitress snapped. Now both are dead. My prayers go out to both families in this oh so avoidable tragedy, and I ask Steve McNair once again-Whas it worth it?
